With summer just around the corner (as ever), the lure of Helensburgh - warm sunlight dappling the limpid waters of the Clyde, visitors tanning themselves on the beautiful white beaches, others enjoying ice cream and fine wines in the bistros, etc - proves irresistible.
But what is this? A skool has been opened in the holiday town by counter-terrorism expert Mr Simon Leila, who teaches the art of Krav Magna, a form of martial art favoured by the Israeli security services. I know there are dangerous Neds, thugs, lunatics and beggars roaming Helensburgh, but I had no idea things had got so bad.
